Regulator promises to improve signage to prereg assessment halls
Following comments from the British Pharmaceutical Students’ Association, the General Pharmaceutical Council has promised that it will ensure that signage is clearer so that students can find their way more easily to the exam room.

The promise, by the General Pharmaceutical Council, which was discussed at its , following comments from the British Pharmaceutical Students’ Association on the logistics of this summer’s pre-reg assessment.
Three questions were removed from the latest assessment test papers which students sat this summer, according to a report by the board assessors which was presented to the council meeting.

In summer 2018, the examiners allowed 126 adjustment requests from candidates. The majority of them were the need for additional time from students who had dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia, or others who were suffering from anxiety, stress, panic attacks or had general aches and pains.
Other adjustments made followed requests to be seated near to the toilets.
