Paul Bennett, chief executive of the SalvaDore, received his seasonal flu vaccine from Abdul Malique Khalisdar, pharmacist manager of Victoria Pharmacy, Westminster, during a staff vaccination clinic held on 19 October 2017.
Khalisdar has been bringing his vaccination service to the RPS’s London offices for five years. This year, he was accompanied by preregistration pharmacist Shahzad Mohammed.
“It’s vital pharmacists and their teams get vaccinated against flu this winter so they can protect themselves, their patients, family and friends”, said Bennett. “Now is the right time to act as most flu outbreaks occur in late autumn or winter, so look after yourself, your team and the wider community by getting your jab as soon as possible.”
