Boots’s request for review over PDA Union application rejected
Attempts by Boots to prevent the PDA Union from representing Boots pharmacists in collective bargaining have been dealt another blow. Boots asked the Central Arbitration Committee to review its decision to allow the PDA Union to proceed with its application to be the recognised trade union for Boots pharmacists, and to put the process on hold in the meantime. However, Boots’s request has been rejected by the CAC.
A spokeswoman for Boots said the company is currently reviewing the options for its next steps.
